Welcome!

Research at the PTC Institute concerns the investigation of the microkinetics, molecular dynamics and structure of biomolecules and model systems.

Research topics focus on the investigation of chemical, biochemical and biophysical processes in complex environments, described at a molecular level. To this end, a variety of methods from modern physics, chemistry and biochemistry are combined in an interdisciplinary setting. Some emphasis is placed on the development of new spectroscopic and theoretical techniques that allow one to characterize complex systems and the underlying fundamental processes with increasing precision.
